Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Limited's initial public offering, carrying a total offer size of ₹5,012 crore, is scheduled to accept investor subscriptions between 15 and 19 October 2026. The listing has drawn attention from institutional investors and brokerage houses, with shares in the offering priced between ₹143 and ₹151 each. The company operates across renewable energy, AI infrastructure, electronics, and industrial manufacturing under a technology-driven production model.
Revenue from continuing operations at Zetwerk climbed to ₹4,117.88 crore during Q1FY27, a 55.42% gain over the ₹2,649.44 crore posted in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal year. Revenue for FY26 reached ₹15,913.32 crore, a 40.43% rise over the prior year, underpinned by broader manufacturing activity and the company's expanded operational footprint.
Continuing-operations adjusted EBITDA reached ₹103.16 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with ₹31.11 crore posted in the comparable period a year before, reflecting a gain of roughly 232%. The adjusted EBITDA margin rose to 2.51% from a prior 1.17%, and adjusted EBIT crossed into positive territory at ₹37 crore, even as net losses persisted at the consolidated level.
By 30 June 2026, the manufacturing order book at Zetwerk had grown to ₹13,062.40 crore, a level roughly 53% above where it stood twelve months earlier. That backlog of pending contracts indicates the volume of work under commitment, though the proportion that converts to recognised revenue depends on the execution and on-schedule delivery of individual projects.
Recurring components drove 71.20% of manufacturing gross merchandise value in Q1FY27, up from a 58.34% share recorded during the same period a year prior. Revenue streams built around recurring operational work, rather than occasional large-scale capital projects, tend to make revenue flows more foreseeable over time.
Zetwerk OS, the company's in-house operating platform, allows Zetwerk to draw on external manufacturing partners alongside its own production facilities rather than relying solely on factory capacity it directly controls. Through a combination of asset-light operations and targeted investment, the firm broadens its output, brings together supplier networks, and serves clients spanning a range of sectors.
Roughly 6,979 external supplier relationships spread across 26 nations feed into Zetwerk's operations, while four additional countries host the 26 production facilities the company runs directly. Operations spread across multiple countries provide access to adaptable sourcing, varied manufacturing capacity, and a broader buffer when supply chains come under strain.
Returning buyers drove 80.15% of manufacturing revenue across the full FY26 period, a share that rose to 89.26% when measured against Q1FY27 results alone. Between FY23 and FY26, a median net revenue retention rate of 128.85% reflected the firm's record of retaining existing clients while expanding the scope of those commercial relationships.
The company's portfolio spans eight distinct verticals — renewable energy, power infrastructure, AI data centres, aerospace, defence, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment — placing Zetwerk across a broad range of manufacturing and technology-linked sectors. Holding positions across multiple manufacturing segments means the portfolio is not tied to the fortunes of any single sector.
Debt repayment and prepayment obligations are set to absorb ₹2,160 crore — roughly three-quarters of the ₹2,830 crore being raised through Zetwerk's fresh issue. Paying down debt by the amounts returned to lenders has the potential to reduce interest costs, strengthen the balance sheet, and support improved profitability.
Anchor allocation for the Zetwerk offering drew commitments totalling roughly ₹2,251.23 crore, spread across 99 institutional backers that included BlackRock, Capital World, Capital Research, 3P India, SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, and ADIA. Four brokerages — ICICI Direct, SBI Securities, Ventura Securities, and Kunvarji Wealth Solutions — each issued subscribe recommendations on the IPO, citing factors including the company's ability to scale its manufacturing operations, room for business expansion, a spread of revenue streams, and a path toward stronger profit margins.
