Plans filed by Jio Platforms Limited point to a three-day share sale opening on 21 October 2026, with investor applications accepted through 23 October. Priced at between ₹1,065 and ₹1,119 per equity share, the fresh issue — through which the Reliance Industries subsidiary aims to raise up to ₹30,213 crore — has been assigned its offer band.
Submission of the company's Red Herring Prospectus to the Securities and Exchange Board of India paved the way for the share sale to proceed. A Draft Red Herring Prospectus lodged by Jio Platforms on 19 June 2026 drew SEBI's formal observation letter roughly ten weeks later, on 28 August 2026. Before the subscription window opens, both the RHP and any follow-on offer documents set out refreshed details covering the terms of the issue, the company's financial performance, and the intended use of proceeds.
Subscription windows for the Jio Platforms IPO are set to run across three trading days, with the offer opening on Wednesday, 21 October 2026. Subscription acceptance ends when Friday, 23 October 2026 arrives. Bids may be lodged at any price point within the declared range of ₹1,065 to ₹1,119 for each share.
Each application batch covers a single lot of 12 shares, with the total funds an investor is required to put forward falling anywhere between ₹12,780 and ₹13,428 based on the chosen bid price. Pricing for the offering will be determined once the book-building exercise concludes, drawing on investor bids lodged throughout the subscription window.
A share issuance of up to 27 crore new equity units forms part of the offering structure being pursued by Jio Platforms. Priced at the top of the band — ₹1,119 per share — the offering is structured to draw in ₹30,213 crore in gross proceeds, before issue-related costs are accounted for. All proceeds from the offering will go toward raising new capital, as no existing shareholders are putting shares up for sale. Money raised through the offering will go directly to the company's balance sheet, with existing stakeholders receiving none of the proceeds.
Retiring certain outstanding debt obligations held by Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited — whether through scheduled repayment or early settlement — has been listed among the primary intended uses of the funds being raised. Sitting within the Jio Platforms corporate structure as a designated material subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm carries responsibility for running the group's telecommunications operations. Under the terms set out in the offer documents, part of the net proceeds would go toward general corporate purposes, within the boundaries and conditions those documents specify.
Operational turnover climbed to ₹1,46,885.3 crore across FY26, up from ₹1,28,218.41 crore posted in FY25, a gain of roughly 14.6 percent on a year-over-year basis. Net earnings after taxation climbed from ₹26,109 crore to ₹30,049.1 crore across that span, reflecting a gain of roughly 15.1 per cent. Climbing from ₹64,170 crore in FY25, the EBITDA figure reached ₹76,255.4 crore by the close of FY26.
Its portfolio stretches across three interconnected areas — mobile telecommunications, home and business broadband, and a range of digital services — all operating under the Jio Platforms umbrella. Mobile services and fixed broadband expansion across India sit at the heart of what Reliance Jio Infocomm delivers as the telecommunications arm of its parent operation. Beyond connectivity infrastructure for enterprises, its portfolio stretches into a range of digital technology divisions.
Bidding closes on 23 October, after which share allocation is scheduled for completion by 26 October 2026. Refunds are set to be processed and allotted equity shares transferred into demat accounts on 27 October. Conditional on listing requirements being met, Jio Platforms shares are scheduled to make their debut on both the BSE and NSE on 28 October 2026.
