On Saturday, the NFL published its weekly fines report, with two Los Angeles Rams players named among those penalised. The NFL handed linebacker Nate Landman an $11,111 penalty for unnecessary roughness involving helmet use, while defensive end Tyler Davis received a $6,225 fine for a blow to the head and neck area of San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy during the second quarter. According to Pro Football Focus, Davis recorded seven tackles and three run stops in the contest. Purdy threw 25 completions from 34 attempts, accounting for 205 passing yards, three touchdown throws, and one interception, finishing with a passer rating of 105.6. On the ground, he added 29 yards across five carrying attempts. Across 40 defensive and six special teams snaps, Garrett neither registered a pressure nor made a tackle. A left knee injury — disclosed afterward — was the reason he was placed on injured reserve, ruling him out for a minimum of four upcoming matches. Garrett is set to be absent for fixtures against the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, and Buffalo Bills.
