Shot discreetly over a span of three years, the roughly three-hour film tracks Holmes — who established the blood-diagnostics company Theranos — through the 34 days before she began her prison sentence. Some attendees lined up outside Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center as early as 3 a.m. to secure a place at the sold-out 8 p.m. screening, after which Fielder told the gathered audience during a post-screening discussion that he had yet to fully process what he had gone through. Production ran over the course of a full day, with camera crews present for interviews conducted in subjects' private spaces including bedrooms and bathrooms, while Fielder noted that his own role felt incongruous, describing himself as an unlikely candidate to be chosen as someone's companion for the 34 days leading up to a wedding. "I'm not the most comforting person," she remarked, while the filmmakers later discovered that Holmes and Evans had reached out to A24 about the prospect of producing a documentary. Fielder had not initially envisioned the project as a feature film, though her curiosity about Holmes led her to pursue it; on meeting Holmes, she reported experiencing an internal tension — perceiving what felt like authentic moments while at the same time holding awareness that Holmes had been found to have deceived others. Oppenheim, who directed the recently released "Primetime" featuring Robert Pattinson as "To Catch a Predator" host Chris Hansen, observed that everyone involved in the production encountered a comparable tension, with crew members regularly discussing the day's events only to find they could not reach consensus on even routine moments that had taken place. In "You Can See Everything," Fielder's inquiry moves beyond establishing what is verifiable about Holmes, reaching toward broader questions concerning identity, performance, the nature of fiction, and the dynamics of control. The firm was reported to possess technology capable of revolutionising healthcare by identifying diseases and various medical conditions from a minimal blood sample drawn through a finger-prick test. The venture attracted nearly $1 billion in investor capital, driven by broad market enthusiasm for its prospects. After a series of investigative articles in The Wall Street Journal raised doubts about the company's stated technological capabilities, the organisation ceased operations.
