Kylie Jenner made her runway debut for Victoria's Secret at the brand's Los Angeles fashion show on Sunday, 18 October, wearing the Fantasy Bra — the highest-priced iteration the label has produced in the garment's history. Jenner, 29, brought the piece back to the runway for the first time since 2018.
The bra, developed alongside luxury jewellery house Jacob & Co., carries a price tag of $50 million (£37.6 million) and incorporates 4,410 natural diamonds, among them a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid yellow stone at its centre. A team of 15 artisans assembled the piece over a span exceeding 1,000 hours of labour, producing an object weighing just under four pounds.
According to a broadcast news outlet, the garment substituted gold and diamonds for fabric throughout, yet its structure was tailored to trace the body's natural lines while maintaining the flexibility that lingerie demands.
Jacob & Co. founder Jacob Arabo told reporters that his ambition for the piece extended beyond its price point, citing the interplay of light, movement, and diamonds of varying cuts and proportions — among them the brand's proprietary Angel-Cut — as the central intention behind the design. The garment's construction, he explained, was oriented around capturing available light with each movement along the runway, with the overall craftsmanship aimed at stirring a visceral response in those watching.
Kris Jenner and Timothée Chalamet watched from the crowd as Jenner took to the runway in the gemstone-adorned piece. Jenner's appearance at the 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show drew attention partly through the Fantasy Bra, which served as a focal point of her involvement in the event.
Audience demand drove the decision to revive the piece, with the Fantasy Bra drawing more viewer requests than almost any other element of the prior year's show, prompting Victoria's Secret to bring it back after an eight-year absence.
Victoria's Secret chief creative officer Raul Selman told reporters that Jenner's presence across fashion, entertainment, and wider popular culture had coalesced into what he viewed as a recognisable identity of her own — a quality he cited when explaining her place in the 'Fandemonium'-themed production. Her involvement gave the revival its defining character, with the television personality and Kylie Cosmetics founder stepping into a role at the centre of one of the brand's longest-running annual rituals.
Compared with many of the brand's most recognisable faces who had previously worn the Fantasy Bra, her appointment to that role represented a noticeable shift in direction. Among those who wore the garment in earlier years were Gisele Bündchen, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrosio.
The piece traces its origins to a 1996 runway appearance by Claudia Schiffer, though it carried a different name at its debut — the Million-Dollar Miracle. That iteration of the design debuted in print advertisements rather than on the catwalk. Over time, the gem-encrusted undergarments came to be widely associated with the brand's identity, with later iterations appraised at figures running into the millions of dollars.
In 2018, Elsa Hosk wore the Dream Angels Fantasy Bra, a piece valued at $1 million (£750,000), becoming the last model to don it before the garment's absence from the show. With Jenner now having worn it, she becomes both the first person to don the piece since Hosk and the wearer of the highest-priced iteration the label has produced.
