JNU Professor and Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam Faces Sexual Harassment Allegations

Congress MP and former JNU professor Angomcha Bimol Akoijam is facing sexual harassment allegations filed by 11 female students. JNU terminated his services on October 9 following an internal inquiry, and Delhi Police registered an FIR on October 11 after a complaint from the university's Chief Security Officer. An investigation is underway.
