Hamilton's Missed Pit Entry Costs Ferrari Double Podium Finish at Singapore Grand Prix
Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur confirmed that Lewis Hamilton's missed pit entry during a Virtual Safety Car period at the Singapore Grand Prix cost the team a double podium finish. Both Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were running second and third when the VSC was deployed, but while Leclerc pitted successfully and went on to finish second, Hamilton bypassed the pit lane. Hamilton later apologised to the team over radio, taking personal responsibility. Vasseur ruled out any miscommunication, stating that radio instructions were clear. Max Verstappen won the race from pole position for Red Bull.
