Formula 1 Set to Return to Africa with Rwanda Grand Prix in 2030
Formula 1 is reportedly set to return to Africa for the first time since the 1993 South African Grand Prix, with Rwanda scheduled to host a Grand Prix in 2030. An agreement has been reached, and a formal announcement is expected later this year. Rwanda's President Paul Kagame had announced the country's bid in 2024. Plans include building a permanent racing circuit near the capital city of Kigali.
