Elizabeth Holmes Documentary 'You Can See Everything' Trailer Released Ahead of October Premiere

A24 has released the full trailer for 'You Can See Everything,' a documentary featuring Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and filmmaker Nathan Fielder in the weeks before Holmes began her federal prison sentence. Directed by Lance Oppenheim, the film spans three years of footage and is set for theatrical release on October 16, with a New York Film Festival screening on September 30.

A24 has unveiled the full trailer for its forthcoming documentary You Can See Everything, after the film made its debut at the Telluride Film Festival earlier this month. The documentary, created by Nathan Fielder and director Lance Oppenheim, follows Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes during the period immediately before she began serving her prison term. The film's official synopsis states that Elizabeth arranged for a documentary crew to record her daily life in the 34 days prior to her incarceration. The documentary evolved over three years from its origins as a personal, small-scale portrait. In the trailer, Nathan is depicted alongside Elizabeth and her partner Billy Evans as he works to gain insight into his documentary subject. In one exchange, Nathan challenges Elizabeth on the sincerity of her responses, while a separate moment captures her visibly moved during a discussion with the documentary maker. The preview also includes a scene in which Nathan asks Billy whether Elizabeth acknowledges any wrongdoing on her part, and whether her family's financial background may have played a role in their relationship, questioning Billy on whether he had concerns about her motives. Nathan inquires whether Billy's family has money, to which Billy responds that he views wealth as existing across many different tiers. Filming took place across multiple years, spanning the period just before Elizabeth began her prison sentence in May 2023. Holmes is presently incarcerated in a federal facility following her conviction on charges of fraud connected to Theranos. The firm had asserted that its diagnostic platform was capable of running a wide range of medical analyses from a minimal blood sample. The film *You Can See Everything* is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 16 October. A screening at the New York Film Festival is scheduled for September 30. During production, Nathan lodged with Elizabeth and her household.
