Delhi Election Commission Publishes Discrepancy List, Sends Notices to Voters Amid Special Intensive Revision
Delhi's Election Commission has published an online list of voter name and date-of-birth discrepancies from the draft SIR electoral roll and is issuing notices to affected residents. Chief Electoral Officer Ashok Kumar confirmed on September 19, 2026, that two types of notices are being sent — one for unmapped voters and one for mapped voters with minor record inconsistencies. Approximately 47 lakh voters were removed from Delhi's 1.45 crore-strong voter list under the Special Intensive Revision process announced on August 31. Hearing camps are being held and may be expanded, while the discrepancy list remains publicly accessible online and at key locations across the city.
