Agility Robotics has unveiled Digit 5, its latest general-purpose humanoid robot built for cooperatively safe operation in industrial environments. The new model features a 40% payload increase to 50 lb., a fast-charging battery system with a 10:1 run-to-charge ratio, swappable end-effectors, and advanced AI-powered human detection. Built on over 65,000 hours of commercial deployment experience, Digit 5 is designed to handle complete facility workflows. The company has secured more than $300 million in multi-year orders and plans to begin early deployments in the first half of 2027.
