Truth Social User Traffic Drops 38 Percent From June 2025 Peak Despite Trump's Increased Posting Activity

Truth Social has experienced a 38 percent decline in daily user traffic from its June 2025 peak of 420,000 users to approximately 260,000 daily users, according to Similarweb data. The drop comes as Donald Trump continues to post at record volumes — averaging 27 posts per day in May 2025 — and as the platform continues to trail significantly behind competitors Facebook and X in terms of daily active users.

Web analytics firm Similarweb recorded a drop in Truth Social's audience traffic after the platform reached its peak in June 2025. Backlinko, a digital marketing and SEO research firm, tracks several competing platforms, and by those measures Truth Social's audience remains a fraction of what its peers attract — Facebook reports north of 2 billion active visitors on any given day, and X puts its own global daily count at more than 130 million. Truth Social launched in February 2022, roughly twelve months after Trump's account was removed from Twitter — a suspension that came in the wake of the January 2021 breach of the Capitol building.
