Tesla Sets October 1 Unveil Date for Long-Awaited Next-Generation Roadster
Tesla has announced an October 1 unveil date for its long-awaited next-generation Roadster, first revealed as a prototype in 2017 with a then-targeted 2020 production date. The vehicle promises a 0-to-60-mph time of 1.9 seconds, a top speed above 250 mph, and up to 620 miles of range. A potential SpaceX collaboration involving cold-gas thrusters has also been teased. Tesla has not yet confirmed a production or delivery schedule.
