Sudha Yadav Sworn In as Governor of Karnataka, Becomes State's Second Woman Governor

Sudha Yadav, a BJP leader and Kargil war widow with a doctorate from IIT Roorkee, was sworn in as the Governor of Karnataka on Friday. Appointed by President Droupadi Murmu, she becomes the state's second woman governor, succeeding Thaawar Chand Gehlot. Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and senior officials attended the ceremony at Lok Bhavan.
