India's delegation to the United Nations General Assembly's Fourth Committee formally demanded that Pakistan end human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. BJP MP Mahima Kumari Mewar, speaking in the right of reply, stated that Pakistani armed forces and proxies have killed dozens of civilians protesting for basic rights. She reiterated India's position that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India.
