A joint announcement Wednesday from Disney+, ESPN, and the NFL confirmed that the Super Bowl LXI broadcast on Feb. 14, 2027, will be carried live on Disney+, extending the reach of what marks ESPN's debut as a Super Bowl production partner. Viewers holding a Disney+ subscription in the United States can watch the holiday matchup through that platform, with the contest also carried simultaneously on ESPN and ABC under the broadcast team of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters, and Laura Rutledge, alongside a separate Spanish-language feed on ESPN Deportes.
Viewers in more than 55 territories outside the United States — spanning Latin America, Brazil, the Caribbean, South Africa, and the Australia–New Zealand region — will be able to watch ESPN's Super Bowl broadcast through Disney+. Across more than 130 countries and territories, ESPN's traditional broadcast channels are set to carry the Super Bowl.
Broadcast rights for NFL action throughout the 2026–27 season — Super Bowl included — belong to DAZN across a footprint spanning more than 200 territories outside the United States and China, with access delivered via the platform's NFL Game Pass offering.
Beyond the Super Bowl LXI broadcast, Disney+ subscribers will also have access to a pair of Monday Night Football matchups from the regular season leading into the championship contest. One matchup already confirmed places the Dallas Cowboys against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, Oct. 26 — a Week 7 contest — while a second fixture remains pending, with its details set for a later announcement. Viewers can catch both matchups on their existing ESPN, ABC, and ESPN Deportes feeds, while Disney+ carries the English and Spanish audio streams for those who prefer to watch online.
Monday Night Football matchups and Super Bowl coverage on ESPN will continue to be accessible through the ESPN App for viewers in the United States. Disney noted in August that advertising slots for the 2027 Super Bowl broadcast had been fully booked ahead of schedule, a milestone the company stated no network had reached this far in advance of the game before. Fifty-eight brands spanning 34 product categories — among them nine making their Super Bowl advertising debut — have locked in commercial slots for the game, the company stated.
According to media reports, the broadcaster is pricing 30-second advertising slots at between $10 million and $12 million for any airtime that becomes available should committed sponsors choose to withdraw from their existing agreements.
Disney+ is set to carry the Super Bowl alongside two Monday Night Football matchups as part of the company's push to draw subscribers toward bundle packages that include the wider range of ESPN programming. On Disney+, a selection of ESPN college football matchups airs each week, with College GameDay included in the lineup. Across the United States and most international markets, Disney+ subscribers are set to gain access to live Formula E race coverage at some point during the remainder of the calendar year.
Super Bowl LXI is scheduled for Valentine's Day 2027 and will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California — the same venue that hosted the NFL's title game five years prior.
