Delhi Court Permits US National VanDyke and Six Ukrainian Nationals to Travel Home Following NIA Charge Sheet
A Delhi court has permitted US national Matthew Aaron VanDyke and six Ukrainian nationals to travel to their home countries for 30 days, following a National Investigation Agency charge sheet that charged them only with immigration offences under the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, and excluded UAPA charges under which they were originally investigated. Special Judge Prashant Sharma of Rouse Avenue Courts passed the order, with conditions requiring the individuals to inform the NIA of their whereabouts abroad within 24 hours and return to India after 30 days.
