Cristiano Ronaldo Named in Portugal Squad for UEFA Nations League Under New Coach Jorge Jesus

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in Portugal's UEFA Nations League squad by new head coach Jorge Jesus, ending uncertainty about the 41-year-old's international future. Ronaldo had not confirmed his continuation with the national team after Portugal's World Cup 2026 round-of-16 loss to Spain. Jesus, who previously worked with Ronaldo at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, has noted that Ronaldo will receive no preferential treatment in the squad.
