Congress Appoints Aradhana Mishra as Uttar Pradesh Unit President Ahead of 2027 Assembly Elections

The Indian National Congress has appointed Aradhana Mishra, known as Aradhana Mishra Mona, as the new president of its Uttar Pradesh unit, replacing Ajay Rai. A three-time MLA from Rampur Khas in Pratapgarh district and daughter of senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari, she is joined by Imran Masood as working president. The leadership overhaul is part of the party's preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
