Bollywood Actor Imran Khan to Challenge Court Order to Leave India

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, an American citizen holding OCI status, is preparing to challenge a Foreigners Regional Registration Office notice ordering him to leave India by October 28. The notice relates to his participation in an October 10 demonstration at Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan calling for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Khan has retained MZM Legal LLP and is considering filing a writ petition in the Bombay High Court.
