BJP Women MPs Plan to Meet President Murmu Over Harassment Allegations Against Congress MP Akoijam

BJP women MPs are scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu over sexual harassment allegations against Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, a former JNU professor who was dismissed following an internal university inquiry. Delhi Police has registered an FIR based on the university's complaint, and an investigation is ongoing. The BJP has demanded action and questioned Congress's response, while BJP Mahila Morcha members protested outside Congress offices. Akoijam, who represents Inner Manipur in the Lok Sabha, has disputed the university's inquiry process. No criminal conviction has been established, and the matter remains under investigation.
