Bharti Enterprises Chairman Says Company Leads Starlink in India Satellite Approvals
Bharti Enterprises Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal stated at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum that his company is ahead of Starlink in obtaining satellite communications approvals in India. He also addressed India's investment climate, the need to reduce reliance on China, data center development, sovereign cloud infrastructure, AI regulation, and recent pressure on the Indian rupee caused by supply chain disruptions.

Speaking to reporters, Bharti Enterprises chairman Mittal said the approvals his company had secured for satellite broadband services in India placed it at a more advanced point in the regulatory process than Starlink had yet reached.
