Amazon is reportedly negotiating the acquisition of Israeli AI startup Decart in a deal that could be valued at up to $7 billion. Founded in 2023 by the Leitersdorf brothers and Moshe Shalev, Decart develops technologies including the Nvidia-backed Lucy model for real-time video modification and Oasis, a simulation platform for robotics and autonomous driving. The deal would nearly double Decart's May valuation of approximately $4 billion. Anthropic had previously explored a similar acquisition valued at around $6 billion before withdrawing following due diligence.

Acquisition discussions between Amazon and Israeli AI startup Decart — with insiders placing the deal's potential worth at roughly $7 billion — were first disclosed by a news outlet on Sunday. Such a transaction, if finalised, would lift Decart's valuation beyond where it currently stands, according to analysts tracking the company. According to PitchBook data, Decart carried a valuation of roughly $4 billion that May, with Amazon now counted among the technology companies that have looked at a potential buyout of the startup.
